🔒 Why there's no private messaging
WRLD keeps every conversation public and moderated on purpose. Private messages are much harder to keep safe, so all communication happens through public discussions, Playbook Q&A, Live Learning, and Office Hours instead.
Learn alongside people on the same path
Study Groups connect learners working through the same Learning Path, Program, or Playbook — discussion, shared goals, and resources in one place.
Study Groups are rolling out in phases — they need real, matched members to be worth joining, so WRLD is building this alongside its growing community rather than launching it empty.

Each Study Group will include its own discussion board, shared goals, recommended resources, upcoming Live Learning sessions, and Orbit recommendations.
Accountability Partners — Coming Soon
Orbit will suggest pairing you with another learner working toward the same goal — like "Three learners are currently completing this Playbook." That only means something once WRLD has a real, matched community, so it launches alongside Study Groups.

WRLD doesn't run its own placements yet, so this curates real, established remote-friendly volunteering platforms — search or filter to find something that fits.
Real people, giving back on their own time
WRLD's Mentorship Network is a volunteer community — anyone can become a Mentor, and every session is hosted by someone doing this because they want to.
Become a Mentor
Mentors host free, live Learning sessions and (soon) 1:1 matched conversations. Here's what to expect:
- Commitment: As little as one live session — no minimum hours required.
- Application: Submit an application through Become a Mentor — a real person on the WRLD team reviews it and approves Mentor access by hand.
- Areas of expertise: Anything covered by a WRLD Program — career, finance, school, wellness, leadership, and more.
- Tools: Once approved, Mentor Studio lets you schedule sessions and set up your public mentor profile.
